I organized a free event for National Night Out at Cornwallis in Durham, and Johnathan graciously volunteered his services because of his dedication to the community. He worked diligently with us to tailor the music to our needs, arrived early to ensure a prompt set-up and provided a great music experience that gave the event the energy that perfectly suited our needs. We had a great time with Elite Sound Entertainment at our resident pep rally last night at our community. He played great music while we played games and kept us all entertained for some dancing after the games were done. I also appreciated the headset to help keep me handsfree while I was announcing games and giving instruction and so forth. Will definitely book again!

Elite Sound helped us out wih a screen rental for an 8 year old's birthday party. Johnathan was helpful and communicative throughout the process, and the party went off without a hitch! He made the set up really easy - I didn't have to worry about the screen or sound! Considering having them DJ for another party in October. Would highly recommend!

About
Hi! I’m Johnathan — DJ, MC, and owner of Elite Sound Entertainment. I’ve spent the past 13+ years helping people celebrate life’s biggest moments through music and event entertainment. My DJ journey started in college when I began performing at social events, and it quickly turned into a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Over the years, I’ve worked across private events, school dances, corporate functions, weddings, and community celebrations throughout the Raleigh area. I’m an open-format DJ who enjoys blending multiple genres, reading the crowd, and matching the music to the atmosphere — whether it’s energetic, elegant, or laid-back.
My influences include music from the 90s through the 2010s, along with Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Funk, Rock, Country, Latin, and global sounds. I believe every event has its own rhythm, and the best results come from listening, adapting, and building the right flow for each crowd.
