Mikalah Watson is a Jersey born and North Carolina raised singer, songwriter, and pianist who has a voice and talent that can only be described as pure heaven. At just 21 years of age, her lofty soprano range and angelic spirit has captured audiences throughout the nation. Mikalah’s prayer is that people will feel the presence of God when they hear her sing. Born to a long line of musicians on both sides of her family, it was no surprise that she, along with her older sister, formed a professional singing duo, MyaMi’K, when Mikalah was just 15 years old. They performed at festivals and venues throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southern regions throughout high school. As the lead singer of her high school show choir, Mikalah is a 2x Winner of the prestigious National Beta Competition.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music w/Music Industry at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women. Mikalah is an accomplished songwriter and producer and scored her first film placement in December of 2021 on Lifetime’s Merry Liddle Christmas Baby featuring Kelly Rowland. She is always writing and creating new music and will be releasing her first single this year.

For my performances I require a mic stand, and a decent sound system. If I am performing in the day, stage lights are not necessary.
