Eli Goldstein

Eli is a professional trumpet player, composer, and educator based in New York City. He has many years of experience playing a wide range of musical styles including jazz, pop, blues, classical, New Orleans, funk, etc. Born and raised in Virginia, he began his musical career playing in local jazz clubs and for wedding dance bands. He would soon grow into a working band leader and first-call trumpet for hire in the central Virginia area.

Since moving to New York City, he has been awarded his Master's Degree from Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with legendary trumpet players Scott Wendholt and Ingrid Jensen. He quickly became a member of multiple large jazz ensembles such as the Courtney Wright Big Band, and the Fishbeyn-Buonaspina Big Band. He has also been a featured soloist on a Downbeat award-winning recording, and has multiple recording sessions under his belt. In addition to his jazz roots, he's an active member in many other musical areas; wedding bands, the local brass band scene (The Villagers Brass Band), and touring indie-pop artist Goldie Scott.
