Sandra K. Wilson’s early childhood began with her grandmother in Mount Pleasant Iowa. It was there that she first experienced the unconditional love of family, developed family values and began her independence. As family life changed she moved “back East” with her mother. She grew up in a Federal City. Americans call it the Nation’s Capital. Sandra calls it home, Washington, DC.
After graduating from Howard University with a degree in Nursing, she decided to transition into a sales career for a Pharmaceutical company, and in her first year she became a President’s Club winner for Top Sales in the company and continued to achieve “President’s Club status throughout her tenure. After that her career continued to soar, she was promoted to the positions of Regional Trainer and Senior Territory Manager. Her career as a mortgage banker increased her awareness for the importance of financial literacy. Sandra has mentored fellow nurses, pharmaceutical team members, cannabis entrepreneurs, prospective home-buyers, young adults and teenagers in leadership, sales, financial literacy and “best in class” business practices.
Sandra’s burning desire to mentor and educate other professionals in the entrepreneurial space led to her starting a business. However, Sandra discovered that although crafting successful career-building habits led to easy career transitions; transitioning from career to entrepreneurship and building a business required additional skill-sets. Sandra struggled her first year in business, she often say’s “I have the scars to prove it”. It wasn’t until she fully committed to learning about business “best practices” and finding a business-success coach to help her develop a solid plan that her business started to grow and sustain itself. Today, Sandra is committed to teaching budding Entrepreneurs how to successfully transition from career to business momentum and growth. The goal is simple to teach entrepreneur’s how to ” build a successful revenue generating business quarter over quarter”. She is the creator of the “Bake the Cake” Success System that never fails. Sandra is easy to work with. She requires the following, screen, LCD projector (local audiences, she will bring with her), white board and eraser, flip chart and wireless microphone, if possible for audiences greater than 20.
