December 8, 2022Xav Handfield is an amazing speaker. He spoke in a Mass Communication class at BCU and had to change the topic at the last minute because only two of the students showing up for class that day; he did it effortlessly. He was able to relate to the students, engaged them, and they even asked him questions throughout the presentation. I know those students told their classmates they missed a great speaker that day. Xav Handfield believes that everyone we come in contact with shares a commonality with the next person, and thats is what he leads with. He is not a stranger on having to advocate for himself and others and pushing through unfortunate circumstances to reach a goal, or even tackling the impossible to set the pace and path for others to follow. At the age of 25 he stepped out in faith, moved across the country and built his life from scratch for a new start and to inspire the next generation of leaders. His journey has ups, and downs but what has remained consistent was his ability to connect with others to build community, practice mindfulness through therapy, and raise his emotional quotient to simply transform into a better human being.
Postponement or Cancellation:
Once a presentation date is established, CONTRACTOR expends time and resources on CLIENT’s behalf. As a result, CONTRACTOR charges a cancellation fee to recover upfront expenditures and/or losses that may occur by not scheduling other business on CLIENT’s event date.
Should the presentation be postponed or canceled for any reason, the following fee schedule shall apply: Less than 30 days before event: 100% fee will be charged
Between 30 – 60 days before event: 50% fee will be charged
CLIENT may record all or part of CONTRACTOR’s presentation. Should CLIENT record the presentation, CONTRACTOR requires delivery of a master copy of the recording within 30 days after event close. CLIENT may distribute copies of our presentation to internal staff, but may not sell copies. Should CLIENT wish to make other recording or distribution arrangements, a separate agreement will be required.
Event Key Messages: Having the room set up and equipment readily available is key to delivering a quality presentation for your audience. We recommend you use one of the following room set-ups: Equipment and Room Set Up Preferences Classroom style Modified classroom style (preferred) Open “U” Style Round tables We require that the client provide the following items for our speaker's presentation: Lectern Projector (LCD, overhead, etc) Laptop High-speed Internet access Screen (freestanding or fixed) Microphone (lavaliere or traditional) Raised platform Display table for materials Others (TBD)
The past of present acts that have influenced me are having the gift to see the light in someone and recognize that we all have something special to offer the world. I am influenced by people who live their lives with integrity, and are able to treat everyone with dignity and grace.
My grandparents influenced me to get an education, master my craft of speaking, and understand that I will be using my voice as a way to help others get from point A to point B. Sharing my story, engaging, and being that light to lead the path for others has always influenced me to get going.
