Elaine integrates movement and narration to deliver tales from around the world as well as personal tales. She has performed and led workshops both nationally and internationally including school tours in China, Korea, Peru, Chile, and Colombia. Elaine offers workshops on movement and storytelling (including storytelling in literacy, storytelling in leadership)solo performance and professional development. NOTE: Also available for virtual live performances or via pretaped streaming.

What to expect
To see visual interpretations of folktales. To be visually entertained. This is NOT a talking head performance. Some audience participation.
About
I have been directed and taken workshops with some of the most prestigous names in physical theater including Tony Montanaro, Paata Tsikurishvili (Synetic Theater), David Novak and James Donlon. I have performed both nationally and internationally and have been honored to have been chosen for specific peer-voted conferences. My stories are movement based and highly theatrical forms of folktales as well as personal stories. I can create customized programs with 4 months lead time. A typical performance is approximately 45 minutes in length. My performances can incorporate the use of masks and cloth for character changes. I have over 4 hours of material for both children and adults.
Additional booking notes
Clean well-swept stage with minimum dimensions of 6 feet by 6 feet. Will provide lighting sheet for larger venues.
