Eef Barzelay
Overview
Eef is pronounced like beef with a silent b. Eef was and is the leader of indie-folk-alt-country semi-legends Clem Snide. He has made many records and has toured through out the US and Europe for over 15 years. Career highlights include performing on the Conan O'Brien show, touring with Ben Folds, and scoring the 2007 Sundance hit "Rocket Science". His style combines the wry biting humor of a Loudon Wainwright with the nasally sweetness of a Buddy Holly. He does not shy away from an unexpected cover and has a great collection of sweet simple love songs, both old and new, ideal for any celebration of life and love.

Eef is a well seasoned performer and songwriter. He's performed everywhere from The Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow Scotland to some kids back yard in Madison WI. He also knows a lot songs by everyone from Hank Williams to Journey to Nine Inch Nails.
Stephen Thompson of NPR describes him thusly:
"As a general rule, Barzelay doesn't get enough credit: He may be the most underrated songwriter in the business today, with a sneakily firm grasp on poignancy and humor, and his live performances convey a kind of awkwardly fidgety fearlessness. He's a disarming performer: He can seem above it all, until he hits an emotionally devastating kill shot when listeners least expect it."
