Eddie Smith, Jazz Pianist

I endeavor to apply complex, lush harmonies to beautifully written lyrical jazz standards. I have worked in New York City at the Waldorf Astoria and in Chicago at the Palmer House Hotel and in Los Angeles at the Hilton Hotel. I have played for public functions and private parties at iconic Los Angeles venues including the famous Bradbury Building, the art deco penthouse of the Oviatt Building and the All Souls Chapel. For 5 years I maintained a piano residency at the LA Rose Cafe in Hollywood. I play the piano weekday afternoons at the major Los Angeles Hospitals in connection with their Music for Healing programs. My services are available for events sponsored by worthwhile charities.
