I wave my hands and play music "out of thin air". I perform this musical magic playing the Theremin, the only instrument played without touching. This first electronic instrument was invented 100 years ago. I establish an "attraction for interaction" with the audience or party group. Guests are interested to see if they can play as I do. I Iinvite them to have fun trying to do what seems impossible.

Playing the Theremin at a concert can be as serious as playing any instrument. However, playing the theremin can be an interactive presentation as well. Making music "out of thin air" by waving my hands, not physically touching the instrument, fascinates children and adults alike. So, after a lecture, intermission or after a concert, I invite anyone interested to join me, and have some fun, as I show them how to make music or strange noises "out of thin air".
