December 16, 2024He did a fabulous job with the kids. His story kept a bunch of young toddlers captivated and he was very realistic. Only reason I'm giving 4 vs. 5 stars is he left about 15 minutes early when we still had new families/kids coming in who wanted to take pictures. I was also told Mrs. Claus would be coming too and she did not.

East Dallas Santa
Mrs. Claus did not come because she was sick with a sore throat. The price charged did not include Mrs. Claus. Santa commented that the children and adults appeared to lose interest and move to other activities after he had seen all the children who were there. He even went out to the snow globe and took photos with children there. The hostess did not tell him there were more people expected, or he would have gladly stayed.

Santa Brent appears in Parades, at Photographers shoots, at Tree Lighting events, school festivals, church parties, home parties, corporate parties, retail promotions, any place where Santa is needed. He makes a grand entrance with his pack, greets attendees, jokes with everyone at the party, visits individually with children and poses for photos. He sometimes sings carols with the group and tells an original, entertaining story. He sets up a remote and magically lights the Christmas tree, hands out gifts that the parents or event have provided, visits with each child and poses for photos. Each child receives a token from Santa, like a candy cane, jingle bell, snowflake, or special key. Mrs. Claus can come along and help with songs, gifts, and photos. Santa's home visit is usually about half an hour.
Santa Brent, known as East Dallas Santa, has been appearing as a professional Santa for 22 years. He wears a beautiful custom designed, embroidered suit and grows his own fluffy, curly white beard. He belongs to Lone Star Santas and International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas. Santa Brent and his Mrs. Claus have attended Schools for Santas, certifying with a Masters degree in Santa-ology. They are real-life parents of 4 and grandparents of 9. During the off-season, Santa Brent enjoys turning wood on his lathe and creating unique artistic works from wood. He is active in church and is respected for his service in the community. He has a creative mind and writes original stories to tell all the children he meets at Christmas. There is a new story every year. Santa Brent has a clear background check and is insured. His clients request him year after year, often booking a year in advance.
Santa Brent can bring his Big Red Chair for photos. He requires the assistance of two helpers to carry it in and out. Unless previously arranged that Santa will provide his backdrop, event planners will provide decorations, such as a tree, for photo set. For events that do not rent the Big Red Chair, a comfortable chair must be provided. Santa will not sit in a plastic school chair. If you want him to deliver gifts, they are usually left on the porch for homes, or loaded into his pack in advance of his entrance. For parades, he will be paid for the half hour he waits in advance. Any vehicles where he rides will need to be safe and secure. Areas where photos will be taken should be well-lit, but not back-lit. Temperatures need to be comfortable. If a large group of children is present, a microphone is required for story telling.
