When you book East Bay Elixirs, here's what you can expect from start to finish:
Before your event, we start with a consultation to learn about your celebration, guest count, and drink preferences. From there, we design a cocktail menu tailored to your event and provide a detailed shopping list so you know exactly what alcohol to purchase and how much — no guesswork, no waste.
On event day, we arrive early to handle full bar setup. Every event includes a professional, certified bartender (two for events over 60 guests), all bar equipment and tools, ice, cups, straws, and napkins, plus a complimentary water station for your guests. Our bartenders pour with skill and personality — quick service, clean presentation, and a friendly face behind the bar all night.
When the celebration winds down, we handle complete breakdown and leave the space as clean as we found it. You enjoy your event; we handle the rest.
Optional add-ons let you build the bar experience you want: mixer and garnish bundles, additional service hours, a portable bar, custom cocktail menu design, and specialty bars including mocktail, dirty soda, and lemonade stations — great for family-friendly events.
Every event is backed by general liability and liquor liability insurance, and our team is ServSafe and RBS certified. Professional service, crafted moments — poured with passion.

East Bay Elixirs was born behind the bar — literally. After years of professional bartending, I found myself behind the bar at a close friend's wedding, crafting cocktails and watching the celebration come alive around them. That night reminded me why I love this work: a great bar isn't just about the drinks, it's about the moments they create. Not long after, East Bay Elixirs was official.
I'm Alisha, the founder, and I bring both sides of my background to every event — years of hands-on bartending experience, plus a career in finance that means your event is run with real organization: clear contracts, straightforward pricing, and no surprises.
We operate on a dry-hire model, meaning you purchase the alcohol (we even provide a customized shopping list) and we take care of the rest — certified bartenders, bar equipment, ice, mixers, garnishes, and a cocktail menu designed around your celebration. It's the most cost-effective way to get a full-service bar experience.
We're fully licensed and insured, ServSafe and RBS certified, and proud to serve the Bay Area and Central Valley. Whether it's a backyard birthday, a corporate mixer, or your wedding day, we treat every event like it's the one that started it all.

Our setup is simple and self-contained, but here's what we need to make your bar run smoothly:
Space: A level area approximately 6ft x 4ft for our bar setup, with room behind it for the bartender to work. If your venue or rental package includes a bar or serving table, we're happy to use it — otherwise, our portable bar is available as an add-on.
Alcohol: We operate on a dry-hire model, so the client purchases all alcohol. We provide a customized shopping list in advance with exact quantities based on your guest count and menu — you'll know exactly what to buy.
Water access: Access to a water source on-site is helpful, though not required — we bring our own handwashing and sanitation setup and a stocked water station for guests.
Power and lighting: No electricity required for standard service. For evening outdoor events, we ask that the bar area be reasonably lit.
Outdoor events: For outdoor setups, we request shade or covering for the bar area (tent, canopy, or natural shade) to protect ice, garnishes, and equipment.
Venue requirements: If your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance, no problem — we carry general liability and liquor liability coverage and can provide a COI naming your venue as additional insured, typically within 1–2 business days.
Arrival: We arrive 60–90 minutes before service begins for setup, and breakdown takes approximately 45 minutes after last call.
