Beginning in the early 1990's as a performance poet, E the poet-emcee rocked coffee houses, college campuses and local bars with his unique blend of prose with MC flows. By the 2000's He became a traveling poet in demand, featuring at The Apache Cafe in Atlanta, all Busboys and Poets locations in the DMV area, World Cafe Live in Philadelphia and the Legendary Nuyorican Poet's Cafe in New York to name a few. E the poet-emcee has hosted and curated events from Virginia to New York ranging from open mics to community festivals such as The Art Of Conversation and The Hustler Of Culture Convention, using poetry as common connector. E the poet-emcee has lectured at Maryland Institute College Of Art, Coppin State University and Morgan State University on Hip Hop Culture and The Black Arts Movement.
