Duo Lyrico

Audiences can expect a flute and guitar duet, two people, performing a list of songs in a row. The songs would be in the genre(s) of your choosing, and would include any specific requests you make. That is one of our services: clients can make specific song requests. They will also receive a list from us two weeks prior to the event that includes all songs we will play for the client's approval. You can expect clear communication from us from start to finish.

Besides our instruments, we can bring our own microphones and speaker if the event needs amplification. If the venue is small, we can play acoustic.

Owen Yen is a bass and guitar performer and teacher, playing with both rock and jazz ensembles and bands around Seattle regularly. He has decades of experience and a drive to share music with others. Before retiring from the corporate world, he was a software engineer and electrical engineer. He now owns a small, happy farm with his wife.
Dana Carey is a flute and tin whistle player who teaches lessons and performs with a Celtic folk & punk band outside of Duo Lyrico. She has been playing since age 9 and holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance. She is deeply passionate about music and loves getting to provide it for people's events.
