We are 5 guys who are serious about music and making sure our clients receive the best experience possible from us. We offer a wide variety of covers (over 200 songs in our line-up and growing) that cover every genre and decade of music. We are very familiar with the gigging process, and can be seen playing venues all across the Carolina's every week as well as private parties and weddings. If you consider us for your event, I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Here is a recent review from a wedding we played at:
We could not have been more pleased with DTSMB playing at our wedding reception.
Our reception was in a fairly large venue, The Carolina Yacht Club, and it was really important
that we had people dancing. We were really afraid of having this large, beautiful venue with
friends and family just standing around, in their own little groups, chatting amongst themselves.
Well DTSMB did not disappoint! They were easy to work with, responsive, and professional
through the entire process. From working on a song list, to what should be played when, they
were knowledgeable and accommodating. We wanted slower music played between our arrival
and the cake cutting so that people could have drinks and couples could slow dance if that was
their thing. But after the cake cutting, we really wanted the party to get started – and boy did
it. The groom and I had just assumed that most of the older attendees (mostly family and family
friends) would enjoy some of the slower songs earlier on, but would not be breaking it down on
the dance floor too late into the evening. To our absolute delight, DTSMB had EVERYONE
dancing the entire event. They played the perfect dance music that appealed to all ages – their
recommendations of what “gets the crowd going” was spot-on. I could not have been more
pleased. In the middle of dancing with all of our friends, to turn around and see the groom’s
mother dancing in a huge group with all of her friends, was one of the highlights of the reception
for me. Everyone was dancing and everyone had a blast.
DTSMB was professional from the very beginning. They were responsive to emails
and we had an ongoing open dialogue about what works to get people dancing, and what really
does not (I had a set play list in my head and I’m glad I took their advice on several songs
they recommended and recommended against). They were outstanding in announcing our
entrance, the cutting of the cake, the best man speech, etc. They really coordinated everything
beautifully. We received more compliments on the band than we did on any other aspect of the
entire wedding. Every generation there had a blast, all thanks to DTSMB. They really made our
wedding reception an event to remember; I give DTSMB the highest recommendation possible,
as they really made our reception outstanding.
