Bazil Gillen is an active member of the Denver music scene and has been drumming professioanlly for the last ten years. Currently, he offers his services for live performances, studio work, and national tours. He also keeps busy by teaching private lessons to students of all ages/playing levels on drums, guitar and bass, as well as teaching in various public schools all across Colorado. Since first entering the field of music education in 2020, Baz has discovered a true passion for education and pedagogy and hopes to further his skills not only as a player but as an educator.

Bazil plays a diverse array of styles, studying jazz at MSU Denver with renowned faculty. He's toured with numerous pop and punk bands, and regularly plays an eclectic mix of R&B, funk, and hip-hop music around Denver. Outside of his gig life, Baz teaches at countless schools across Denver and keeps an expansive list of private music students.
