What to expect from a drumming session with DrummaSphere LLC? Tons of fun, high energy, loud voices, loud drumming and bodies moving to rhythms that we will create together.

Upon arrival, unloading of all of the different types of percussion that we'll explore takes place: a variety of drums, buckets, drumsticks, tambourines, shakers, and noisemakers. Before musical play, Ms. Serita creates a fun, welcoming atmosphere with ice-breaker games and instrument introductions. Drummas (drumming participants) build energy and excitement while playing simple rhythm patterns, repeating positive affirmations in a call-and-response manner, and taking turns to "lead the band" with games of "Follow the Leader". As we get closer to the end of our session, participants will have the opportunity to "jam out" - this is when everyone plays what they want but TOGETHER!

DrummaSphere LLC was birthed by Serita Ibarra-Leonard in 2023. Serita is a performer, through and through: she has been a dancer and drummer with Bichini Bia Congo Dance Theater Company since 1999, a Zumba® Fitness Instructor, a bucket drumming teacher, and a creative movement instructor! She enjoys making people of all ages move with a smile!
Known for her high energy, interactive performances and encouraging persona, Serita shares DrummaSphere LLC with the world to help them "feel alive" through the use of percussion, movement, and positive affirmations. She'll lead audiences with fun, affirming call-and-response chants, rhythms and creative movements that will have everyone participating! Whether they are making beats on a bucket drum, shaking a shaker, or shaking their bodies, your audience will be energized and rejuvenated by a session with DrummaSphere LLC!

Technical requirements include:
*electrical access (to plug in speaker)
*enough light to see faces!
*microphone (handheld or headset) for audiences 30+
*upright seating for drumming
