Richard (previously known by Drew) specializes in close up strolling magic. Mainly known for his close up work, he also provides a stage show that packs small and plays big if interested. Richard is known for his mix of witty comedy, stories, and weaving in spectator participation to create a unique experience. Most of the magic is done visually with borrowed objects from the guests, fruits, money, playing cards, apparent mind reading demonstrations and comedy pick pocketing all in the works. When booking me you'll find I can work for audiences and venues of most types whether strolling room of 100+ guests or a small intimate gathering of about 20 guests. I can promise you that I do my best to accommodate last minute situations and can easily adapt to any scenario as I know every event is different and sometimes things change last second.
From clients such as McKinsey and Company, Google, and Trish McEvoy, I have performed for several Fortune 500 companies and high end clients through my career. However, my expertise is in cocktail parties, high end galas, and private events.
I perform with the spectator and audience in mind, therefore, becoming a very interactive show. I personally believe magic is best when the magician isn't the only one doing the magic, but the spectator as well. From revealing thoughts just thought about with my background in psychology and hypnosis, to creating an apparent miracle with a borrowed object, or pick pocketing a guest, I assure you your guests will be entertained as I do my best to keep them on their toes.
All Virtual Magic Shows require guests to have a webcam of any kind to take part of the show. Everyone will also receive a link before the show with a password to enter - Unless an invite is sent by the event host.
