Dr. Semaj Pennix has been teaching public school music for 24 years. He received his Bachelors in Music Education from Pfeiffer University, his Masters in Worship and Ethnomusicology from Liberty University, and his Doctorate in Worship Studies and Ethnomusicology from Liberty University.
Dr. Pennix started his private School of Music, Studio Of Semaj (SOS Music LLC) in December of 2014. Here, he began offering Piano, Vocal, and Guitar and other lessons. He also began Music Production and offering Studio Recording sessions under the umbrella of this business venture.
He has been singing all throughout his life and has always loved singing and playing the piano. Dr. Pennix is a licensed minister and loves to share his gift of music with other. He has recorded several gospel music singles, and loves to make a joyful noise. He is a proud father of three and a devoted husband.
Dr. Pennix will bring a Keyboard setup as well as PA speakers, a mixer and a microphone. All that is needed is a small space to set up and an electrical outlet.
