DJ Wrex is the lead DJ and MC of Synergy Events, serving weddings across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Temecula. Synergy Events is in The Knot Hall of Fame (Best of Weddings 2021–2026) and a WeddingWire Couples' Choice winner from 2016 to 2026.
Rex mixes live on Technics turntables and reads the room all night, so your reception follows your crowd, not a fixed playlist. As your MC, he handles introductions, toasts, and the timeline with your coordinator and venue.
Before the turntables, Rex played piano, trumpet, guitar, and drums. He has opened for Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne, LMFAO, and Wu-Tang Clan, and was featured on Power 106's World Famous Wake Up Show.

DJ Wrex is a Filipino American rhythm architect from Los Angeles, born in Glendale and raised in Duarte. His musical journey began at just 4 years old on the piano and evolved into full musicianship—mastering trumpet, guitar, drums, and more. That early curiosity eventually led him to the turntables, where everything clicked and his signature style was born.
From Hollywood hotspots to the Las Vegas scene, DJ Wrex has brought his energy to stages around the world. He’s shared lineups with icons like Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne, LMFAO, and the Wu-Tang Clan, and has delivered unforgettable sets at The Do-Over and Motown Mondays. He’s also been featured on Power 106’s The Wake Up Show, showcasing his scratch skills and cementing his place in the DJ community.
Beyond nightlife, Wrex has spent over a decade creating elevated experiences for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. His approach goes far beyond playing music—he reads the crowd, shapes the vibe, and crafts moments people talk about long after the night ends.
Whether he’s cutting it up on the decks, building viral scratch content, or setting the tone for life’s biggest celebrations, DJ Wrex brings heart, precision, and passion to every beat. His mission is simple: make people feel the music, the energy, and the moment.
