Jordan Tait, professionally known as DJ Spinalshift, is a Kelowna-based wedding and event DJ serving the Okanagan Valley. With over a decade of experience and more than 500 weddings performed, he is known for seamless live mixing, polished production, and celebrations that feel energetic without feeling forced.

Jordan reads the room in real time, blending modern favourites, timeless classics, and personalized selections into a cohesive soundtrack. Clean transitions and thoughtful pacing allow the energy to build naturally while keeping guests of every generation involved.

His modern all-white DJ booth, high-fidelity sound systems, and intentional lighting create an elegant production footprint that complements the venue rather than overpowering it. Polished MC services and detailed advance planning help every part of the event flow smoothly.

Every event is handled personally by Jordan, from the initial planning through the final song. The result is a refined, guest-focused experience built around professionalism, preparation, and a full dance floor.

Power

• One dedicated standard 120V outlet within 25–50 feet of the DJ setup
• Power must not be shared with catering equipment or other high-draw appliances
• Additional power may be required for enhanced lighting or a photo booth

Space

• Minimum clear 8' × 8' footprint for the DJ booth and speakers
• Additional space may be required for lighting, ceremony audio, or photo booth setups

Outdoor Events

• Secure overhead cover is required to protect all equipment from direct sun and precipitation
• The setup area must be dry, stable, and level, with no gravel or soft ground
• Power must be available within 50 feet unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed

Access and Load-In

• Clear venue access and nearby loading are required
• Any stairs, elevators, long carries, or restricted loading windows must be disclosed in advance
• Setup access is required 90–120 minutes before guest arrival, with additional time needed for ceremonies, lighting, multiple spaces, or photo booth service

Sound Restrictions

• Venue-imposed sound limits, curfews, or in-house production requirements must be disclosed in advance
