Hi! My name is DJ Sir Lou. I explain the special story of how I “acquired” my DJ name below.
I’ve listened to music since before I can remember according to my sisters! My favorite class in high school was Music Appreciation – learning to understand that every artist in every genre is telling a story making that story special and filled with meaning. So an adequate DJ should not only be equipped with an array of music reproduction equipment; the knowledge and appreciation of a large array of music of different genres should also be expected.
I would love to have the opportunity to provide DJ services for your next event – be it a wedding, a special party or a holiday gathering. I understand how important your event is to you and your guests. Attention to detail is critical.

How I Got My Name
My son was hosting a show at a venue in Point Loma. He decided to go back to school on the East Coast to finish his studies. The venue asked me if I would take over the show in his absence. I agreed. I’m Lou Jr.; my son is Lou III. So although the staff felt at ease calling my son “Lou” they were a bit uncomfortable calling the Dad by his first name. Mr. Lou was out. So they started calling me “Sir Lou”. Hence, my DJ name!
