April 7, 2025This DJ cancelled 4 days before our event. I am literally left scrambling for a DJ now, and since we used Gigsalad to process the payment, it will take time to process my refund, and I have to pull hundreds of dollars out of thin air to figure out how to pay for another DJ.
When I booked, his profile said he was in Kerman, CA, now his profile says he is in Florida. Its absolutely heartbreaking knowing that this DJ knew he was not going to be able to complete our event and didn't tell us until last minute (4 DAYS before the event). There's no reason why he couldn't have let us know at LEAST a full week or two before her birthday event.
I paid for this DJ in full last year, I provided him hours worth of playlist so that it would be easy for him to simply hit play, and I accommodated him when he wasn't able to have our phone consult at our scheduled time. I've never had to deal with a vendor this irresponsible in every aspect. Disgusting way to do business.
Don't book under any circumstance. Protect yourselves and save your money!
