DJ Lunetta

DJ LuNetta is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure your event is fun and memorable.

DJ LuNetta is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and grew up in Houston, Texas. From an early age, music has been a significant part of her life. She and her younger brother would sneak around their house, playing with their dad's Prince records. At 9 yrs, DJ LuNetta was exposed to gospel music. Her mother played gospel artists, such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Cece Winnans, and Helen Baylor. Her father introduced her to the sounds of the Commodores, Gap Band, Janet Jackson, and Prince. As a teenager, DJ LuNetta fell in love with the sounds R &B, and HIP HOP music. DJ LuNetta’s favorite artists from childhood include Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Whitney Houston, Boys II Men, and Ginuwine.

ARIZONA
It was at the University of Arizona where DJ LuNetta was asked by one of her colleagues, “Can you bring your iPod to the party and play the music for us?” Shortly after, word spread and her friends began to expect that if it there were going to be a party, then she would cover the music. It was during this time that a passion for playing music for people and watching its effect as they danced to their favorite songs began. While living in AZ, DJ LuNetta became obsessed with listening to instrumentals and hearing beats.
TEXAS (HOUSTON)
In October of 2014,DJ LuNetta returned home to Houston, Texas, where she decided to enroll in Superstar Spin Academy. On her first day in dj class she met DJ Supastar, founder of the academy. This was the first time DJ LuNetta was able to interact with another female DJ and she knew at that moment it was possible for her to be become a female DJ.

At Supastar Spin academy, under the teaching of DJ Jnastic, DJ LuNetta gained a foundation, in which she learned the history and techniques behind beat matching to pursue her DJing career. DJ LuNetta has successfully completed level one of her DJ program at Supastar Spin academy and is now actively pursing completion of her level two DJ courses of the program.

DJ LuNetta is equipped for a variety of events – parties, weddings, graduations, church events, fashion shows, business grand openings, and lounges.

I require a power source for any gig outdoor or indoor. For outdoor gigs I have to be in area away from water.
