Highly recommend DJ Jay, he did several of my parties but the recent was for my 4 year old birthday that was a princess theme, it was so much fun he played Disney songs and mixed music that had everyone dancing having a good time.

During planning
We review must-play and do-not-play music, pronunciations, introductions, special dances, and other important cues. I coordinate relevant details with your venue and event team. Live vocals are available for cocktail hour.
On the day
I arrive with time for the agreed setup and sound check, handle announcements, and adapt the music to your guests and the flow of the event.
About
I’m OJ Martori, the DJ, MC, and vocalist behind DJ Jay Tori, LLC. I’m based in Indian Orchard, a neighborhood of Springfield, Massachusetts, and work with couples, families, and event teams across New England.
My background includes studying at Berklee College of Music and more than 20 years in live performance, including singing in an eight-piece wedding band. That experience shapes how I listen, mix across generations, and adjust to the people in the room. My Marriott hospitality background also taught me how much clear communication, preparation, and coordination matter to a successful event.
For weddings, I help plan the soundtrack and flow of the celebration, from introductions and special dances to the last song. For birthdays, private parties, and corporate events, I work around your guest mix, agenda, and the atmosphere you want. Live cocktail-hour vocals can add another personal touch.
Tell me what matters most to you, the songs you love, and anything you would rather skip. I’ll help you build entertainment that fits your celebration.
Additional booking notes
Please share your venue’s access and setup times, parking and load-in instructions, stairs or elevator details, and any sound restrictions. Reliable power near the agreed setup area is required.
For outdoor events, we’ll review weather protection, the ground surface, power, and a backup location with you and the venue before confirming the setup.
If the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception use different spaces, include the distances and layout in your inquiry. We’ll confirm the speakers, microphones, any separate systems, and setup needs in your quote.
For corporate events, please share the agenda, presentation or award cues, microphone needs, and the contact for any venue or AV team. Setup and sound-check arrangements are agreed before the event.

Set list
Every event gets its own music plan. Share your must-play songs, do-not-play list, favorite genres, and the age mix of your guests. For weddings, we also plan introductions, special dances, cocktail hour, dinner, and the last song.
Selections can span pop, R&B, hip-hop, soul, funk, disco, dance music, rock, and familiar singalongs, with the mix shaped around your preferences. Please mention cultural traditions, specific versions or edits, and any lyric or content restrictions during planning.
If you would like live vocals, we’ll discuss the repertoire and timing before booking. You do not need to build a full-night playlist; bring your priorities and I’ll help with the flow.
Influences and inspiration
My approach comes from years as a live vocalist and wedding-band performer, along with my music studies at Berklee. I focus on musical flow, the energy in the room, and the songs that mean something to my clients. Your preferences help shape the soundtrack for your event.
Setup requirements
I will provide my own table.
