DJ Honest Ave

I use DJ Honest Ave's services for my family reunion banquet in Louisville Ky July 25 2026. The reunion is held in various cities in the U S every two years. This was my family's first time serving as hosts so we wanted to make this the best reunion ever.

After looking for referrals through family and friends, I found DJ.Honest Ave on gig salad. After reading his reviews on the website.I thought he might be the best for our event.

Needless to say , I concur with all of the positive reviews that I found on the site. He is courteous and friendly. Once our event started , he intuitively knew what type of music needed to be played as we moved through our program.

Once the program was complete, in no time flat, the music he played had the group on the dance floor having a great time.

DJ Honest Ave was perfect for our wedding reception, he played every song we requested and matched the vibe we were going for. He also emceed our first dance, cake cutting, and directed the tables to the buffet. Ave was exceptionally easy to work with, we recommend him to anyone needing DJ services, he'll make sure your event is a great time for everyone!

DJ Ave was THE BEST; very flexible, and when we weren't sure what tech would be on hand for our event - he brought it all, just in case! We were supposed to have an outside party...and then there was A HURRICANE, so we had to bring the party inside, where the speaker system at the venue was less than ideal, but Avery made it WORK, and delighted a party of 300+ people! Totally recommend, top-notch professional and fun DJ who really can read a crowd and get people moving!

For our wedding, Avery did what I thought was impossible. We had a large multicultural wedding with guests ranging from 10-90 years old, and yet, Avery managed to get EVERY SINGLE one of our guests up on their feet! He blended Arabic music, 90s throwbacks, old school r&b, and more, together so creatively and with so much energy. It's been a month since our wedding and we are STILL getting compliments from family and friends of all ages and cultures on our DJ. We wanted our reception to feel like a big dance party, and Avery nailed it. It was the perfect vibe. Thank you Avery!
