I have performed weddings and other events in a variety of venues -- indoors and outdoors. Some highlights have included an outdoor ceremony at Celebrations at the Bay where I worked with a bride to play a song that commemorated her departed song as I wove in audio recordings of his voice. Another great one was at the Baltimore Conservatory where I provided music in 5 different rooms throughout the evening, and right before the pandemic I performed a club style wedding reception at a Frederick Distillery for a Coast Guard pilot and his bride. You will find I am one of the most responsive people you will potentially work with. My day job is an environmental consultant where I have learned the importance of the client's needs and interests. Also, that job keeps me accessible all the time. So if you needed a quick Zoom / Teams / FaceTime check in during the day or night I am rarely not available.

Yes, I have four kids, but that also allows me to understand the importance of respecting your time and being efficient. You won't get a cocky showboater with me; rather, you'd get a confident speaker with accomplished skills behind the DJ decks who has a very large suite of music under his belt. Your preferred genres are right in my wheelhouse especially since I grew up ballroom and swing dancing in my college days and beyond, so I appreciate the importance of those styles of music.

I pride myself as a DJ that clients would be comfortable introducing to their family and friends. I try to diversify my work as much as possible. So in addition to weddings I do everything from night club and bar support to non profit fundraisers to spin class DJing (super fun). I sincerely mean it would be an honor to hep you during your event. This is because you trust in my abilities and it results in my complete dedication to your satisfaction. Hiring me means you get a DJ that is directly connected with you whenever you need and is proactive in working on things such as wedding party introductions, special dance options, and dance playlists either I draft for your review, you provide, or we work on concurrently. An example of this is I send a questionnaire early in the process to wedding couples asking those questions (always good to know name pronunciations early!) -- I can send a draft agreement for your review early on.

I grew up around a wide swath of musical genres with my own father back home in Allentown, PA and I introduce my 4 children to the same here in Maryland. Top 40, pop, oldies, 80s (I can’t call that oldies yet!), dancehall, jazz, R&B / hip hop, bachata, balada, reggaetón, modern and classic rock (Muse - my favorite band of all time), country, bluegrass, and of course electronic (trance and progressive being my true loves). In 2021 alone I have supported 30 weddings, and 60 corporate and private party events. I have played as far north as the Lehigh Valley, PA and as far south as Yorktown, VA.

I also am well versed in Christian worship music of varying styles. Plus, as a father of 4, I am in the weeds on kiddie favorites and children’s tunes. I am Virtus certified with the Archdiocese of Baltimore for children safety. So I am more than capable to assist with children’s events at school functions or private parties.

I work with the Traktor line of DJ software and hardware. Some of my photos show examples of special effects and midi controllers I like to incorporate into my sets. I simply do not serve as a human version of Spotify, but I focus on accurate beat blending representing the needs of the client while offering songs from other genres they might not have previously considered. Videos on facebook show examples of these.

I am an expert public speaker by virtue of other non profit work I do, and effective emceeing is something I pride myself in. I offer professional microphones for party members as well.

With events requiring lighting, speakers, and DJ-support, I prefer 2h of setup time.

I also reach out regularly to clients via e-mail check ins, virtual visits, cell, and occasional in-person consults.
