DJ "B" Mack

We decided last minute that we wanted a DJ. We had several inquiries from Gig Salad who were all comparable in price so I looked through their profile pics and knew “B” Mack was the right DJ for us. We confirmed our choice after reading the reviews. He showed and set up early, and was very accommodating in the small venue area we had. The volume and sound of the mic and music was loud enough to hear and have fun without drowning out table conversations. The lights were great too!
My recommendation is to do the homework he gives you- favorite songs, artists, must haves and must nots, order of events, names, announcements and etc.. We failed to get him the information 2 weeks prior to the wedding as he asked. We have such a WIDE variety of music likes as do our friends and family so we thought anything would be fine. We were so slammed with last minute everything’s we didn’t make time to sit down and do the homework. Once we sat down we realized there are actually many songs we definitely want to hear and some we didn’t. We turned in our homework and only gave him a couple of days to prepare for our ceremony and even so he did great and kept everything moving. He had his wife there and she stepped in to assist with things we didn’t know we needed such as table releases for food and such. They were amazing and made our wedding reception all that we could’ve ever imagined! We elected to allow music requests and he was able to accommodate everyone’s request.

DJ "B" Mack was very professional. Prompt communication, early to the venue for setup and testing. Music aligned with our vision for the event and also did a great job MCing.

100% recommend Brian -- he arrived early, set-up and ready on time, worked with our alumni to fill their requests -- made it fun for all!

DJ "B" Mack was a pleasure to work with and made the party flow so smoothly and using our playlist while also being creative to match the "vibe." I enjoyed all aspects of the experience and I was so please how many of the attendees mentioned how much they enjoyed the DJ. I would recommend him without reservation.

We hired DJ BMack for my mom’s 70th birthday party, and he was absolutely outstanding! He kept the energy perfect all night with a great mix of classic hip hop, R&B, and soul, and he followed our event agenda flawlessly. He read the room, matched the guests’ vibe, and emceed all the special moments with ease and professionalism.

Communication leading up to the event was clear, responsive, and reassuring. We felt taken care of from start to finish. We will definitely be booking Brian again for future events! Highly recommend!
