October 13, 2025DJ Dave Rocks!
We had an absolute blast at our karaoke birthday party. DJ Dave was all set up before the event and ready to rock the night by the time we started arriving. He kept up the energy level for us, and created a playlist that matched the event perfectly. We had a blast!!!

What to expect
When you hire me, you’re getting more than someone who just shows up and plays music. I bring over 30 years of DJ and entertainment experience, professional equipment, and the ability to read a crowd and keep an event moving from start to finish.
I take pride in being prepared, professional, and easy to work with. Before your event, I’ll work with you to understand the type of atmosphere you want, your music preferences, important announcements or special moments, and anything else I need to know to make your event successful.
For weddings, I provide professional DJ and MC services and help keep everything flowing smoothly—from the ceremony and introductions to the first dance, formalities, and a packed dance floor. I don’t believe in making myself the center of attention. My job is to make you and your guests the focus while keeping the energy where it needs to be.
For private parties, corporate events, and other celebrations, I customize the music and entertainment to fit the crowd. I’m comfortable working with guests of different ages and musical tastes, and I know when to take requests, when to change direction, and when I’ve found the music that’s working.
Cincy Party Pros also offers more than traditional DJ entertainment. Depending on your event, I can provide karaoke, silent disco, music bingo, and trivia. I own hundreds of silent disco headphones, allowing me to create a full three-channel silent disco experience for groups large and small.
My professional sound system includes Bose equipment, wireless microphones, and dance-floor lighting when appropriate. I arrive with enough time to be completely set up and ready before your event begins, and I keep my setup clean and professional.
Most importantly, I want you to be able to enjoy your event instead of worrying about the entertainment. I’ll handle the music, microphone, announcements, timing, and energy so you can concentrate on your guests and have a great time.
Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate event, private party, karaoke night, or something completely different, my goal is simple: provide professional entertainment, keep your guests engaged, and give them a reason to stay until the last song.
About
I fell in love with music at and early age and always knew that I wanted to be some sort of an entertainer. Fast forward to 1990 something and I started helping a radio buddy of mine with weddings. I was like his roadie, but learning the ins and outs of the wedding DJ business. In 1995 I DJ'd my first wedding and I never looked back. I maintained a part time DJ service all the way to 2015 and that's when I left a corporate sales job to run DJ Dave Entertainment full time. I went to media school, got a job as an on air personality at a Dayton, OH radio station (Cox Media) and learned even more! Now I just concentrate on the business, doing weddings most weekends and hosting karaoke, music bingo and trivia at local establishments during the week.
Additional booking notes
I provide the professional sound and entertainment equipment needed for most events, so in most cases the client or venue only needs to provide about 10 feet of set up area.
My setup can be customized based on the size, location, and type of event. I use professional Bose sound systems, wireless microphones, DJ equipment, and dance-floor lighting when appropriate.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Access to standard grounded electrical outlets near the performance area.
• A clean, dry, level area with enough space for my DJ setup and equipment.
• For outdoor events, the DJ and electronic equipment must be completely protected from rain and other weather. A tent, pavilion, or other adequate overhead covering is required.
• Reasonable access to the event space for loading and unloading equipment. Please let me know in advance about stairs, long load-in distances, elevators, restricted loading areas, or other accessibility concerns.
• If the venue has a built-in sound system that you would like me to use, please provide that information in advance so I can confirm compatibility.
• For larger events, multiple rooms, ceremonies in a separate location, or events requiring additional sound coverage, please let me know when requesting a quote so I can plan the appropriate equipment.
I bring my own DJ equipment, sound system, microphones, necessary cables, and other standard equipment required for the services booked.
For silent disco events, I provide the wireless headphones and transmitters needed for the experience. Up to three separate audio channels can be available, depending on the event setup.
For karaoke, I provide the sound system, microphones, and karaoke system. A suitable location for the display and performance area is required.
Every venue and event is a little different, so I'm happy to coordinate with your venue or event planner ahead of time regarding setup, power, load-in, sound requirements, or other technical details.

Set list
As a DJ, I don't use a predetermined set list. Every event and every crowd is different, so I customize the music around the client, their guests, their requests, and what is working on the dance floor.
A typical event might include music from several decades and genres, including Motown, disco, classic rock, 80s and 90s, country, R&B, hip-hop, pop, dance and today's hits.
Depending on the crowd, you might hear songs like:
• September – Earth, Wind & Fire
• I Wanna Dance with Somebody – Whitney Houston
• Don't Stop Believin' – Journey
• Livin' on a Prayer – Bon Jovi
• Yeah! – Usher
• Low – Flo Rida
• Crazy in Love – Beyoncé
• Mr. Brightside – The Killers
• Friends in Low Places – Garth Brooks
• Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy) – Big & Rich
• Shut Up and Dance – WALK THE MOON
• Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars
• Can't Stop the Feeling! – Justin Timberlake
• A Bar Song (Tipsy) – Shaboozey
• Pink Pony Club – Chappell Roan
For weddings, I'll work with the couple on their must-play songs, special dances, requests and do-not-play list while still leaving enough flexibility for me to read the dance floor.
For private parties and corporate events, the music is tailored to the age range, atmosphere and type of celebration.
I also take requests when appropriate. Some of the best moments at an event happen when a guest asks for the right song at exactly the right time.
There really isn't a "Cincy Party Pros set list." The goal is to play the right music for YOUR event and YOUR crowd—not the same playlist I played at somebody else's party.
Setup requirements
I just need about 10 feet of space and access to power very close by.
