DJ Cynful

We were so happy we decided to hire Cynthia to DJ our wedding reception. From our first dance to our lively dance party, DJ Cynful was integral to our special day. She was able to cater the playlist for both the Latin American and Newfoundland sides of the family and everyone had an amazing time. Lots of compliments received on how lively the party was and Cynthia was so easy to work with!

We cannot thank Cynful enough for making our wedding day perfect from start to finish! She handled our ceremony music with so much care. The timing for the walk down the aisle was perfect and set the most beautiful tone.

Beyond the music, she was a dream to work with. Super attentive and always quick to respond to our questions during the planning process.
When the sun went down, her energy was incredible and she kept the dance floor packed all night. If you want a DJ who is professional, reliable, and knows how to throw a party, hire her!

Nous tenions absolument à prendre un moment pour te remercier du fond du cœur pour l’extraordinaire travail que tu as fait lors de notre mariage.

Nous avons eu énormément de plaisir du début à la fin, et l’ambiance que tu as créée était tout simplement parfaite. La musique était excellente, les choix étaient judicieux, et tu as su lire la salle à merveille. Résultat : la piste de danse était animée, l’énergie était au rendez-vous et tout le monde s’est amusé.

Nos invités n’ont cessé de nous dire à quel point ils ont adoré la musique et l’ambiance de la soirée. Tu as grandement contribué à faire de cette journée un moment inoubliable, et pour cela, nous t’en sommes très reconnaissants. Nous avons vraiment hâte d'avoir l'occasion de revivre l'extérience dans le cadre d'un autre événement.

Merci pour ton professionnalisme, ton écoute et ton talent. Nous n’aurions pas pu rêver mieux pour notre mariage.

I had a date that night. Had.

The DJ’s music physically forced me to dance for hours against my will. The beats were relentless, the energy was illegal, and before I knew it I was drenched in sweat. My makeup completely melted, my dignity followed shortly after, and my date eventually abandoned me on the dance floor… probably out of fear.

I paid the price for this experience with sore feet for two full days after the event. As if that wasn’t enough, the music stayed stuck in my head far longer than any reasonable human should tolerate.

If your idea of a night out is sitting down, relaxing, and having a calm conversation, I strongly do not recommend this DJ.
If, however, you enjoy nonstop dancing, physical exhaustion, and unexpected cardio… well, you’ve been warned.

Cynful is such a vibe. She brought incredible energy to both Le Balcon and SOULFEST MTL, with an effortless ability to read the room and move the crowd. Her sets are tight, soulful, and always feel right for the moment. Beyond her skills, she radiates positivity and creates a genuine connection with her audience. She’s clearly growing, evolving, and coming into her own—and there’s no doubt we’ll be hearing a lot more about her very soon. Wishing her nothing but an amazing career ahead
