Nolan Hubbard Music Services
Overview
My name is Nolan Hubbard and I've been playing music my whole life, with over 10 years of professional experience performing across Canada and beyond. I play guitar, sing, DJ, emcee, produce, play piano, bass, harmonica, and more. My aim is to offer clients easy, affordable and flexible entertainment services for weddings, corporate events, private parties and more with the perk of not needing multiple contractors, seamlessly mixing DJing with live music (solos, duos, trios and full bands) and AV services in whatever combination you need!

What to expect
I've been playing music for over 20 years, and have been fortunate enough to do it for a living since 2016 with over 1400 gigs performed. I aim to use my experience as both an artist and a working musician to offer services that are equally as passionate as they are professional.
My services focus on being flexible and efficient, offering a hand tailored mix of A/V services, live music and DJing. I use my extensive experience to help clients right from first contact with a consultation on everything needed to provide the entertainment package of your dreams right up to execution on the day of the event. Whether your needs are standard or you want to get creative in mixing and matching different services, I will ensure everything goes smoothly and you are free from the stress of needing to organize multiple contractors.
For music selection, reading rooms is one of the main skill sets I offer. With a growing live repertoire of over 300 songs, a wide network of musicians I work with and extensive DJ experience, I am able to offer an essentially limitless mix of styles and genres for an event. From consultation I help clients by preparing special moment/setlists/DJ mixes of what they'd like to hear and execute accordingly, with the ability to take requests and improvise in the moment.
About
Nolan Hubbard is an enchantingly passionate multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer from the small-town of Gananoque, Ontario currently based in Kingston. He has captured the Canadian club scene since 2015 with his distinctive style of soothing soul filled vocals, prodigal guitar playing, vastly dynamic live looping arrangements, sincere story telling/lyrics & ability to bend genres masterfully.
His talent and hard work over the last 10+ years of pursuing music full time have resulted in a series of mounting successes including cutting his debut album (Luminosity 2017) between Nashville, TN & Noble Street Studios (Toronto, ON) with veteran songwriter, producer & former CCMA Music Director Douglas Romanow, releasing to CBC Radio play. He’s also had synchronization on the 2022 indie film So I Married Myself and over 12 Million streams as an accredited songwriter (largely from his collaborations with up and coming Canadian star Devon Cole on her debut album).
Nolan was featured in Exclaim! magazine for his 2025 single “Pollen” with collaborator Sit Still. He has played over 1400 shows played at age 30 including slots like Ottawa Bluesfest in 2025 and has supported large touring acts like Tim Baker of Hey Rosetta! and blues guitar legend Sue Foley, all fuelled by a rapidly growing discography of songwriting, production & mixing credits. His self produced sophomore album “Emanate” that released on March 4th 2026 is a culmination of these efforts, with plenty more to come.
Additional booking notes
Part of my consultation with clients is using my experience to ensure that all necessary equipment is ready for a smooth event. I can offer use of my equipment which includes all necessary instruments, hardware and cabling for my services, as well a PA system fit for most venues. I frequently work with venues and other contractors to assess their technical specifications and plan load in/setup accordingly, with the ability to integrate my equipment with theirs. If it is determined during a consultation that additional equipment beyond what I own is needed, I help client's by sourcing and facilitating rentals of equipment like additional microphones, speakers, lighting and more. This is communicated clearly and included in quotes well in advance so clients can be assured I have everything needed for my services.
