DJ Cla Pessoa

Clarissa Pessoa, aka DJ Cla Pessoa, has been living in the U.S. for the past six years. She has showcased her skills and talent in Southern California, playing at the well-known Spin Nightclub in San Diego and clubs in Los Angeles. She was also invited to play on Revolution 93.5, the #1 electronic music radio station in Miami, FL.
Nowadays, Cla Pessoa lives in Portland, Oregon. She has a monthly residency at Badlands, a nightclub downtown where 1,500 people enjoy and jam with Cla every month. Cla Pessoa has also been invited to play at many remarkable events in the city, such as the Portland Film Festival.
Cla is originally from Brazil, and since moving to Portland, she has been organizing a Brazilian party to keep the community together. The event has been a hit, and everyone is always excited for the next edition. She has also been involved in the wedding industry. She has been playing at ceremonies and receptions, helping couples create amazing memories.
While in Brazil, Cla Pessoa was one of the most influential and active figures in the electronic scene along the captivating Brazilian coast for over 12 years. She built an impressive story as a resident Ds in three of the most important beach clubs:
Caté de la Musique, Thai Casa Grande Hotel in Guarujá, and Creoula in Ihabela, and added her successful performances around Brazil and South America. Cla's impact extended beyond her DJ performances as she took on the role of artistic director at the famed Thai Casa Grande Hotel, a renowned resort on the coast of São Paulo.
With her sets characterized by a seamless blend of house, deep house, and tech house, Cla Pessoa has captivated audiences with her innate ability to create sonic journeys. This versatility has allowed her to grace the stages of prestigious events such as São Paulo Fashion Week and the iconic Morumbi Stadium during the 2014 World Cup. Whether performing at large-scale events with over 30,000 attendees or headlining prominent clubs across Brazil, Cla has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene, from Fatboy Slim to David Guetta, Solomun, Deadmau5, Kaskade, and countless others. Cla's talent has garnered recognition from the industry's elite, and she also has a large collection of photos in magazines and newspapers.
In December of 2017, she was on the cover of the renowned newspaper O Estado de São Paulo, read by people all over the world.
On SoundCloud, Cla showcases her refined music taste and evolution as a producer. In 2024, Cla decided to dive deep into production and create a new project called 55X. 55X combines Brazilian beats with house music, allowing her to create the music she loves with influences from her culture. She has already released 3 songs and has more than 6k monthly listeners on Spotify.
