Divertimento

I have hired Lubo for many events. We have performed together in ensembles and I have hired him to perform separately as a solo violinist and with his ensembles for my clients. Not only is he an extremely gifted musician, but he is polished and professional in every way! I know I can count on him to arrive early, perform perfectly, and please the client. He is happy to learn special requests or goes out of his way to find difficult or rare music for the client. I highly recommend him and can't say enough about his ability as a fantastic musician and his genuine nature as a wonderful human being!

I'm a musician & music contractor. I hired Lubo Velickovic of "Divertimento" to play the violin for 2 memorial services. He is extremely professional and an accomplished musician of the highest caliber. One service called for violin & harp duo, during which Lubo was required to play solo for half the time. His playing was exquisite. His choice of musical selections and manner of playing was so sensitive, intuitive, and respectful of the occasion and situation. As a chamber musician, he is an extremely versatile player of all styles and can improvise on the spot if necessary. The other service called for a chamber ensemble. But the challenge was that the client had a very usual request and we had only one day (on the Thanksgiving Holiday) to fulfill getting the instruments and create an arrangement for the next morning. Lubo worked with me, above and beyond the call of duty, on a holiday to make sure we had what we needed! We couldn't have done it without Lubo! Thank you Lubo!!!
