Diego Ahumada

We hired Diego for a private dinner at a NYC restaurant. He arrived early to set up his equipment and asked us if we had any special requests. Our guests arrived to the beautiful sounds of his Brazilian bossa nova guitar and vocals, which set the mood for the night. Diego is a very talented performer and extremely nice person. Thanks Diego for sharing your talent and bringing such good energy to our event - we appreciate it and look forward to seeing you again!

Diego performed at a private cocktail hour and dinner party we put together to celebrate our wedding and anniversary, and we could not have been happier with his contribution! It was an intimate gathering, less than 40 people, and he provided exactly the ambiance we were looking for – soft yet energetic, and audible for people to stop and listen but not overpowering in any way. Not only was he extremely talented musically, but he radiated such a warm and positive energy that anyone who was nearby couldn’t help but smile. A very welcoming presence. He even let my cousin who’s learning bossa nova strum a few chords at the end and gave him some pointers! After our event, so many of our friends and family reached out saying how much they enjoyed the music – it was without a doubt one of the highlights of our evening, and made it all the more memorable.

Leading up to the event, he and his manager Katrina were extremely communicative and responsive via email to make sure they were aligned on the schedule and what he would need. The day of the event, they arrived early and everything went off without a hitch. We really can’t speak highly enough of working with Diego, and most definitely recommend having him perform for any event! Hoping we can see him in concert someday as well!

Diego's music made the party! The strains of Brazilian Bossa Nova music (guitar and vocals) created an ambiance of fun and elegance that no canned music could have ever achieved - he's a wonderful, musical talent that we would highly recommend!! He was extremely accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Our first encounter with Diego and we were thrilled! Magnificent bossa nova guitar work and singing, in a gorgeous outdoor setting! A special evening, lovely people, wonderful music, with the Blue Mountains in the background! Thoroughly enjoyed his talents, as well as visiting with Diego's brilliant wife! Hope to find him playing in Moscow someday soon.
