We are a Polka Band and also big Band with jazz tunes from the 40s, s 50s, and 60s.
We play all kinds of party's, celebrations and beer fest, Oktober fests and Fasching party's as well as weddings and dances.
We have been playing for over 30 years and many members of the band are still with us!!
We play Jazz and Authentic German Polkas and beer songs.

August 22, 2013We had an Octoberfest party at my work and we hired the Die Polka Schlingels for the entertainment. They did an excellent job! They played a lot of songs we were familiar with and gave some history on the ones we weren't. And I got to say I loved the special hats one player had. He had a different hat depending on the song they where playing. Lots of fun. If you have a need for a polka band you got to hire the Die Polka Schlingels.

We do German sing-a- longs, the chicken dance, happy birthday and all kinds of polkas.
We are an authentic German Big Band with leider hosen(German Leather Pants) and German music.
We play anything and have been to Red river, Taos, Albuquerque, Ruidoso , Gallup and Alamogordo.
We ave our own sound system and our own stand banners.
We need seating for 10 or 11 depending on the gig.
German tunes include Beer Barrel Polka, Monopol Polka, In Munchen Stadt, Wine Women and Song, Edelweiss.
Our Jazz Tunes include In the Mood, Blue Tango, Tie a Yellow ribbon, It Dont Mean a Thing, Pennsylvania 6-5000.
We have over 300 tunes with three hours of German Music and one hour of Jazz dance tunes.
Our group plays authentic German beer fest music and standard Jazz Tunes from the 50s, 60,s and the 70s.
