July 20, 2026Dhara performed pre-ceremony and ceremony music for my wedding. Guests have since commented on her music during arrival time! We had a few requests for songs to walk down the aisle, including the Jurassic Park theme long and Lover by Taylor Swift. Dhara played these songs beautifully. Pre-wedding, Dhara responded to messages promptly and worked well with other vendors. I would recommend Dhara!

July 13, 2026I hired Dhara for a work anniversary party. She's very talented and the attendees really enjoyed her. From a logistics perspective, she had some AV issues with her cords, so it was a scramble up until the last minute to get that figured out. I asked for mellow but upbeat music to be played during dinner. The set she had felt more appropriate for a wedding (slower love longs) - like it was a standard set not tailored to my event. But when I asked her to pick up the pace she did. Lastly, I paid for an hour from 6:30-7:30. We had about a 10 minute break for a speech and then around 7:25 she was packing up her stuff. I felt gypt out of one last song. Make no mistake, she's VERY good and I would book her again, but be very clear upfront about your expectations.

Dhara Marquez is a classically trained violinist whose musical journey began at the age of six through Venezuela’s renowned youth music program, El Sistema. From an early age, she developed a strong orchestral foundation that led her to study at leading music institutions and perform extensively throughout her youth.
As a teenager, Dhara performed as a first violinist with multiple orchestras across Latin America, gaining early experience on international stages. Her performance career has taken her to prestigious venues including Teatro Real de Madrid and La Seine Musicale in Paris, as well as numerous summer music festivals where she cultivated a deep love for chamber music and collaborative performance.
She later earned a bachelor’s degree in Music and Psychology, further shaping her artistic voice and approach to performance. Today, Dhara is known for her versatility and ability to bridge classical training with contemporary sound. Her career spans international touring, high-profile collaborations with artists such as Jeezy and Gucci Mane, and participation in a Guinness World Record–breaking performance.

• Sound:
For small to mid-size events, Dhara can provide her own amplification and sound equipment if needed. For larger venues or stages, a professional sound system with a direct input (XLR or ¼”) is preferred.
• Power:
Access to one standard power outlet within reasonable proximity to the performance area is required when amplification is used.
• Space:
A minimum performance area of approximately 5’ x 5’ is ideal. A chair without arms is preferred if the performance is seated.
• Lighting:
Standard venue lighting is sufficient. A well-lit performance area is appreciated for both presentation and visual impact.
• Environment:
For outdoor events, a covered and weather-protected performance area is required to protect the instrument and equipment.
• Setup Time:
