Damont'e Axel, born in South Central California on March 7th 1987
better known by his stage name De West is an American rapper, record producer, actor, and fashion designer. Currently unsigned to a record label, He continues to individually push his music to his fans and is the creator and leader of the new movement B.L.P.G* (BeachLyfe PirateGang).Growing up in the 90's, Damont'e was heavily influenced by West Coast music but also loved East Coast music as well. It was around age 7 that he would start to sing along with the songs on the radio until he could remember them and pretend to he was the artist. At age 14 Damont'e would freestyle on instrumental's to his favorite songs based on mental inspiration and within a year was writing his own (link hidden) 2010 De West took his music career to the next level and has been at it with full force ever since!
