May 13, 2024My husband and I planned a surprise to celebrate his parents’ 40th wedding anniversary, which also was on Mother’s Day this year! His dad is severely disabled with MS and unable to leave the house. His dad loves 70s/80s music like The Bee Gees but he hasn’t been able to see live music in 17+ years. So, we decided to bring the music to him! That’s when we luckily found DeVoe Music on GigSalad. 🙏🏼
Alexa and Troy DeVoe are an amazingly talented husband/wife musical duo. They were so kind and communicative before the event and helped us create the perfect set list for the occasion. Alexa even called me ahead of time to help go over the run-of-show for the event. Alexa explained to me that their entire mission is to help bring live music to those who need it most. They arrived on time and set everything up quickly!
The music was SO wonderful and fun. We all danced for the entire hour of the set. Alexa has an amazing vocal range and she can sing so many different musical styles. Troy is an awesome keyboard player and you can tell how in love they still are after 30 years of marriage!
My mother-in-law and father-in-law had such an amazing time listening to the music! We all had a blast dancing and enjoying the fun. Afterwards, Alexa and Troy hung around sharing stories and answering questions. They were very thoughtful. We would highly recommend working with them to plan a special event! 🎶✨💗

February 14, 2024The Devoe's bring a positive, energetic, and engaging performance! Alexa moves through the audience and has an amazing voice. The residents at my nursing home just love the energy during their show and are singing along to the different songs. They are not our traditional oldies sing a long type performers, but are more current and exciting! They are truly 5 star entertainment!

Boston’s own Troy DeVoe (keyboard, vocals, producer, composer) recorded his first album "Midnight Magic" in 1985 on Star Guard Records. In 1986 his follow-up hit single "Summertime Love" rose to number 25 on the UK Billboard charts. He also wrote and recorded "Be Your Lover". In 1988 Troy received the Maurice Starr Enterprise's Award for "Best Group in Boston" - "Tow Zone". His newfound fame allowed him to open up for stars like New Edition, Bobby Brown, Sky, Alexander O'Neil, SOS Band, Rene & Angela, and Cherrelle.
Alexa DeVoe (vocals, percussion, producer, composer, engineer) originally immigrated to the US from Vienna Austria. In 2013 Alexa’s song “Happy” was chosen as the winner of the Steintoberfest Songwriting/Recording contest hosted by Steinberg/Yamaha USA. With many years of vocal training, music recording, and live performance experience, Alexa performs with soulful emotion, great dynamic range, and perfect vocal control.
