Deonte Grimes

His name is Deonte Grimes. His mission is very simple; give the word to the people. No one expects to hear what he is about to bring to the industry. He gets to the root of sin in his music, dealing with his personal problems first and foremost. Do not mistake Deonte for a “Christian rapper” or a “Christian that can rap.” He considers hisself to be a disciple of Christ. Audiences relate to his music because he shows them that we all go through similar situations in the streets, in the battle of the mind, and in relationships. He confronts his fears head on and ministers about God’s unyielding power so that together we can and will defeat the enemy. His music is for everyone, young or old, male or female, white or black. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you have been- God will get his message across. Deon proclaims that he is only a messenger. He is a vessel that has laid his life down for a higher calling. We all have a desire to know the truth about this life. Why are we here? Is there life after death? He says, “The Bible has the answers to all of these questions. God is the author from the beginning to the end.” Deon grew up with both parents in the pulpit. The saying, “Preacher kids are the worst ones….” was an understatement when it came to him and his brothers . He went from singing in the church to living life in the streets. He was taught religion but was never taught to have a relationship with God. Thankfully, with the solid foundation and knowledge of the Bible that he was raised on, Deon was finally able to reach out to God and gain the bond he desired . He has been ministering for 10 years, spreading the gospel from small churches in the south to the famous Apollo Theater in New York City. Now, he feels like it is time to go worldwide. The Bible says in the last days he will pour out his spirit on all flesh if they believe. So Deon says “Let’s go! Spread the news about the last hour….and always “EXPECT THE UNXPECTED. It’s coming
