Tired of bands where everybody tries to be louder than everyone else and show off their Van Halen guitar licks? Tired of "bands" that are really just karaoke singers singing along with canned backing tracks or midis? So are we. That's why we pride ourselves in playing genuine live music, and playing at a volume appropriate for the venue. With a combined experience of more than 25 years of performing, we know what a live show should sound and look like, and we make every effort to provide that ...every time. No tracks, vocal harmonizers or other computer tricks. Just guitar, keys, vocals and drums (live or electronic). Pure, straight-ahead music without any magic tricks.

Del and Ilene Aitchison have a very full sound, comprised of Del on guitar (acoustic/electric) and Ilene on keys holding down the bass and string sounds. They pride themselves in using no backing tracks or midis; their sound is fully live (with the exception of a drum machine for smaller venues). They have several live drummers they work with for larger gigs, as well as sax and harp players, percussionists, etc. Whatever your needs are from a duo to a larger band, they can provide it. Del also has served as MC at several events as required. Their sound is eclectic, encompassing reggae to country and pop to rock. You'll hear covers from such rockers as Steelers Wheel, The Rolling Stones and Stevie Ray Vaughn, but also softer songs like Bruno Mars, Jack Johnson, Michael Buble, Dido, Ingrid Michaelson and many, many more.

As a duo, we don't take a lot of space or electricity. One 20 amp circuit will supply all of our electrical needs, and a space about 5' x 10' is sufficient. When we use a live drummer, we need a space about 6' x 12' to set up efficiently. Our PA is adequate for almost any size venue, and we've used it to play everything from tailgate parties at Raymond James Stadium, to the Sunset Festival at Pier 60, and to many restaurants and clubs throughout Tampa Bay. Lighting, if required, must be requested in advance.
