We’re a five-piece Bay Area band blending Latin, blues, classic rock, funk, and dance favorites into a fun, percussion-driven show. Our setlists include music inspired by Santana, Los Lobos, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Van Morrison, and other classic artists, along with Latin and cumbia favorites that get people moving.

Our shows are built around the audience. We can start with a relaxed groove while guests arrive, mingle, eat, or enjoy cocktails, then gradually turn up the energy as the event moves toward dancing. For parties and celebrations, we can come out energetic from the start. We tailor the flow to the event rather than simply playing the same setlist every night.

Decoto Jam is especially well suited for corporate events, private parties, birthdays, anniversaries, community celebrations, festivals, fundraisers, and other special events where the goal is live music that guests can enjoy whether they're listening, socializing, or dancing.

We’re equally comfortable laying down a blues groove, moving into classic rock, and then shifting into Santana, cumbia, or another dance favorite without losing the room.

Most importantly, we read the crowd. If people are dancing, we keep them dancing. If the event calls for a more relaxed atmosphere, we adjust accordingly. As the evening builds, so does the band.

Decoto Jam is self-contained for most performances and provides our own instruments, amplifiers, microphones, and PA system.

Client/venue requirements are simple:

Adequate performance/stage area for a five-piece band
Safe, reliable electrical power near the performance area

For larger events with a house PA or professional sound engineer, we’re happy to integrate with the venue’s sound system. Our setup includes:

1 guitar amp
1 bass amp
Standard drum kit
Congas/percussion
4 vocal microphones

We’re happy to coordinate with your venue, event planner, or production team in advance.
