Overview
I have been playing the piano for the past 28 years and have been performing professionally since 2005. My most notable performances have been playing for Chad Price (2023 NYE Countdown on CBC), Ottawa Bluesfest as one of the opening acts for Snoop Dog and Wu-Tang Clan, and Martina Ortiz-Luis at El Mocambo.
I also play regularly for event companies such as Parkside Drive, Main Event Music, Solepower, St. Royals. I'm using GigSalad as a means to create my own bookings.
I am equipped with a Digital Piano (Roland FP30X), workstation (Korg Kronos), mixer and small PA system in the event that the venue does not have a piano or other necessary equipment.

Dean was so professional and talented when he played at our wedding ceremony in Kingston On. Sooo many guests came over to us to ask who he was and to tell us how much they enjoyed his music. I totally recommend Dean to play at any of your events!! He made our big day magical. He happily played all the songs we requested, he arrived on time, prepared all the music in advance, and made our ceremony unique to us by playing songs that mean the world to us. What to expect
I specialize in creating solo piano arrangements of popular music. The reaction I often get from audience members is "I've never heard (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Drake, Coolio, etc.) on piano like that before!"
My sound as a solo pianist is best suited for: cocktail parties, wedding ceremonies, dinner parties, high tea, lobby/lounge events.
About
Dean is one of the busiest and most sought after accompanists/keyboard players in Toronto. He has worked with artists in a variety of genres (Chad Price, Martina Ortiz-Luis, Del Hartley, Matt Zaddy) and has proven to be reliable in helping their projects come to life. He has performed on high profile stages such as the CBC New Year's Eve countdown for 2023, Massey Hall, El Mocambo and Ottawa Bluesfest.
When he's not playing with original artists, he is frequently playing at many private functions both as a solo performer as well as part of a band. He is a frequent member of well known entertainment companies in the GTA such as Parkside Drive, Solepower, Main Event Music/Magen Boys.
