November 12, 2024David Wilner was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding DJ and more! From the very start, he impressed us with his professionalism and dedication. He met with us twice to meticulously plan every detail, ensuring our day would be exactly as we envisioned.
David took customization to the next level, learning the pronunciations of every name in our wedding party and flawlessly incorporating our unique requests. Beyond just DJing, he provided live sound, and when we needed a last-minute accompanist, he stepped up and backed the bride on piano—his talent on the keys is undeniable.
As an MC, David was outstanding. He hyped up the crowd, hosted games, and kept the energy high throughout the night. His ability to plan the sequence of events was masterful, making sure we got the most out of our limited time without any dull moments.
David also had excellent recommendations for moments we hadn’t even thought of, like cake-cutting and dinner music. And when it came to the dance floor, he was a genius at reading the room. By sequencing genres and eras, he kept all our guests dancing, from young to old.
Even our wedding coordinator was blown away by how good he was—but we weren’t surprised. We knew we had chosen the best! Thank you, David, for making our wedding unforgettable.

David played piano and sang during our wedding ceremony and stole the show. The wedding was three weeks ago and we are still receiving compliments on his magnificent performance.
In addition to be an incredibly talented musician David was also an absolute joy to work with. He recommended songs based on what we liked, and helped guide us through the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding David showed up early to make sure everything was in order, and worked seamlessly with the wedding coordinator.
We could not have been luckier to have found David on GigSalad and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding musician!

David started his music career as the front man of the popular Chicago-based a cappella group Blind Man’s Bluff. David and BMB toured nationally for six years and recorded five albums. After Blind Man’s Bluff disbanded, David recorded a solo piano/vocal album called “Never Too Late” featuring his own original songs. David returned to his a cappella roots again, singing for seven years in the classic rock vocal group Ac•Rock, with whom he recorded two more albums.
Utilizing his charismatic personality, music knowledge, and vocal talents in a related field, David began working as a DJ/MC for weddings, corporate functions, and charity events. Over one thousand events later, David has become one of the most sought-after emcees in the Chicagoland area.
