I have a very youthful style of comedy. In my act, I talk a lot about my attempts to figure out the transition to adulthood the problems that arise with it. I'm very open about personal situations which makes me a relatable comic to watch. I can do up to a half hour of material and I can work a clean set for family events.
David Goolsby is a standup comedian from Greensboro, North Carolina. Combining his overt self-awareness with a unique perspective on the world, he performs at clubs and venues throughout the southeast. He is also the host of a comedy and philosophy podcast, The Oowap, encouraging people to define their happiness and destiny.
Goolsby has performed at clubs and venues around the southeast. He was selected as a performer for the 2021 and 2022 North Carolina Comedy Festival, as well as the Oak City Comedy Festival in 2018 and 2019.
For the setup, all I need is a well-lit area with chairs for people to sit and enjoy the performance. A microphone and speaker is preferred but not always a necessity.
