Dave Boelke

Dave contacted me a few days ahead of time to discuss the event type, playlist, and dress. He arrived early, dressed nicely, and played throughout the event (I would have been happy for him to take a couple breaks over the three hour period but he did not).
Dave was personable and amenable to requests (even ones we hadn’t discussed ahead of time though I wouldn’t have expected that).
Dave is clearly a skilled pianist and for our event he had a huge repertoire of Christmas songs to play from. My one concern was that the piano might be too loud during a cocktail party in a smaller home, which we agreed to address by closing the piano and playing more softly. My guests were pleasantly surprised by the live music and commented again and again how great it was! The only thing we could have done to make it better was putting a bit more thought into the set list (on my side) as I gave Dave only very general guidelines for this. Had I spent a bit more time thinking about songs I especially wanted to hear as well as ones to avoid that would have made the experience even better. Thank you Dave!

Dave was the perfect pianist for our Western-themed wedding at the Madonna Inn. He arrived fully dressed for the occasion and brought the atmosphere to life with ragtime, classic saloon tunes, and beautiful piano pieces throughout our cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, and first dance. His music set the tone perfectly, and his warm, friendly presence made the experience even more special. We couldn’t have imagined our day without him. Thank you Dave!!

If you want to make a lasting impression dave is your guy. He is an extremely talented musician and played for a dinner party for over 100 people. He knew such a wide variety of songs. After every song everyone was clapping in admiration and appreciation! He was all over the keyboard playing songs every knew and singing along and the kids were dancing.
I was looking for a quick quote and he was within my budget and thought why not. Not knowing it was the best decision I’ve made. He brought the party to life kept everything upbeat and made the atmosphere so much more enjoyable. Everyone asked where I found this guy so they could hire him for other events. He was early and let the kids goof off and play on the piano. He was kind, read the room, professional, respectful, and extraordinary.
