Darzee The Tailorbird

Darzee provides music appropriate for the venue and the audience. He doesn't exactly have anything explicit in his set, but not all the topics are 100% family friendly. After a couple of tunes he has a good read on the audience and reacts to their responses to what he does. It is his goal to keep everyone listening happy and comfortable with both the volume level, the subject matter, and their own conversations.

Clients that hire Darzee can expect someone to show up early, set himself up, perform in a relaxed and professional way with minimal banter ot gaps between songs. Darzee pays attention to the audience and can adjust to just about any situation when on stage wether that's an issue with a song, volume, or anything else.

Darzee took the backwards approach to guitar playing and singing. He began with a guitar book and decided that he might as well get a guitar and learn how to play. That was in 2001. 17 years later he has been playing and performing as a solo artist for over 12 years. He has written and self produced 4 albums, and currently performs with a band as well as playing solo.

From small town Idaho, Darzee was a bit of an odd one out when it came to guitar playing. He wasn't interested in playing hard rock, punk, or metal like everyone else was. He leaned more towards jam bands, acoustic rock, folk music, and the like.

Currently he has amassed a set list of over 300 songs as well as his original music. That set list provides him plenty of material to take to events and venues of any size or crowd type. He's at him in a small coffee shop unplugged or on a stage at an outdoor festival playing for hundreds of people.

What musician doesn't prefer going to a venue that has all of the equipment already available?

Still that's not always an option. Darzee has all the equipment he needs to do any gig at any venue. Communication, however, is key to making sure that there are no oversights.
