I never expected to have photos of my wedding that look like they'd be right at home in an editorial fashion magazine, but I got them thanks to Darby's talent and creativity. She's is amazing to work with while shooting; she will put you at ease and make you laugh. She is also very professional - always on time, fast to answer email/calls, and she keeps up with new techniques to make sure her clients get the best photos possible. When the day is done you'll have your wedding photos to look back on - you won't regret hiring Darby to capture it.

What to expect
You can expect me to be a professional, prepared, motivated photographer, with a warm and friendly personality and a great deal of experience. I like to show up early so I can spend more time getting to know the location, and be there for the arrivals and social interactions.
I take all the traditional, make the grandparents happy looks great in an album photographs, but I also like to get all of the guests reactions, those candid heartfelt moments that really make a wedding special.
I love cake pictures (I love cake!) and getting shots of all the fun at the reception.
About
My given name is Darby, but most of the time I go by "mom". I am a lover of art, photography, and sweets(!).
I am the family memory keeper; I believe very strongly in documenting life and all its precious moments.
I still get teary eyed at weddings, I feel honored when chosen to be that person in charge of turning your moments into memories. I love the anticipation, the joy, and the personal touches that make each wedding unique.
My pricing philosophy; I personally would only hire a photographer for my family that would provide full-resolution digital images at a reasonable cost, so I decided I would offer that to my clients. I love being able to scrapbook, email and facebook my images and love for my clients to do that as well. I love being busy and I have the most amazing clients!
