Dan Parr (usually known simply as Dano or DJ Dano) is a multiple award-winning singer, songwriter and DJ from Dallas who splits his time writing and performing music for kids and music for adults. Dano blends electronic music with folk/pop and incorporates elements of jazz, funk, soul, rock and dance music into his original compositions. His lyrics are at times fun, silly and quirky and at times thoughtful and emotional. Dano is available to sing and/or DJ at schools, libraries, festivals, communtity events and corporate events throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. November 25, 2013I hired Dano for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. He was absolutely the right person for the job! Prior to the event, he was very open to communication and discussing what I had in mind for my event. Since I did not have an exact flow, Dano was great about being flexible, making suggestions and in going with the flow. The kids were greatly entertained and enjoyed his comfortable and friendly style while he sang. Dano was a great choice for us! Thank you!

October 21, 2011I heard about Dano through a work colleague- we hired him for a family reunion and we could not be more pleased! With most of the family there you can imagine the range of music it would take to keep our generations happy. Dano had songs for everyone! I don't think anyone requested something he didn't have. Thanks for making our day more enjoyable by playing something for everyone! We highly recommend his services and would book him again!

October 20, 2011We saw Dano perform at a birthday party and the kids loved him. His lyrics are funny and appropriate for all ages. He has a professional sound but is still silly enough to hold the attention of over 20 sugar filled kids and that's not an easy thing to do. We liked him so much we purchased his cd's and the kids sing along to his songs on the way to school. We love singing in our family and it's nice to have songs that the whole family can enjoy!
