April 22, 2025Danielle played the Harp beautifully during the I AM QUEEN NASHVILLE stage production and the Polk theater presented by the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville TN! She was super professional and took time and care to ensure the instrument was tuned to perfection well in advance of the show. She ensured that there were extra materials available in case of emergencies and when it was time to perform, she did so ever so beautifully and elegantly. She kept a poised posture and her hand movements were..well…ENCHANTING! I would hire her for any wedding or themed event.

You may be thinking: I've never seen or heard someone play the harp before, what exactly does that include?
I tell clients that I typically am best to help establish mood and atmosphere; my goal is, not necessarily to be the centerpiece of the event, but to be, essentially, like a living art piece. Guests can hear the beautiful and simple serenade of the harp on their way into a venue, before an event starts, or as they are perusing or leaving.
I mainly play fantasy/whimsically inspired short pieces (something you might hear a fairy or a mermaid play should you ever stumble upon one), for about an hour or so, but I can play longer if need be.

My name is Danielle aka Daniella Enchanted! I am a harpist local to Charlotte, NC and some may know me as The Mermaid Harpist! I love and adore everything fantasy, whimsical, and bright and have (in addition to a flair for the dramatic) a passion for creating simple, beautiful, ambiance for that special event in your life!

I do require that, if the event is indoors and not on a main level, that there be some kind of elevator or way to safely transport the harp upstairs. The harp is a delicate instrument!
I am able to play outside but only in warmer weather (think 70 degrees and up.) In the event of rain, I will have to move the instrument to a safe, dry location, until rain subsides. Fun fact: harps are also very sensitive to weather and humidity because they are made, sometimes entirely, from wood!

The music I play is heavily influenced by fantasy culture and folklore. I love playing celtic music as well as a few tunes that I've picked up from traveling around places such as the Renaissance Faire, my own personal travels and studies abroad, as well as my personal preference as a fantasy entertainer.
I love music that sounds magical and whimsical and I want to bring that to every event that I am invited too!
