December 20, 2024As a mom, it's hard to take kids to a comedy show, you just never know what you're going to get. But Danae's comedy is clean enough for a family to enjoy together and, most importantly, is actually funny! As an indie producer in Hollywood who has also worked for DreamWorks, Netflix, and Universal, I can also say she is a fantastic improv comedian which I was able to use in a personal project during the Covid lockdowns (I mean, what else were we going to do besides play Overcooked 2?). Danae is here to make comedy funny again and I highly recommend her for your next event or comedy project!

Danae Samms was born and raised in the hills of West Virginia. After getting a college education and working an abundance of odd jobs, she began standup. She is a comedian and writer who shares the wild events of her strange and unusual life. Many an adventure has come about in wacky and absurdist ways, and retelling requires sarcasm and color. In 2022 she placed in the top comedians line up at The Comedy Chateau’s International Comedy Festival. In the last five years, she has published four books. Regularly, she is a host on the podcast The Con Guy.
