My husband and I are both classically-trained opera singers with a variety of stylistic abilities. We have professional backgrounds in opera, classical music, art song, sacred music, musical theater, and jazz.
Depending on your needs, one or both of us can be hired to sing. We have a variety of repertoire for you to choose from, or you are more than welcome to make a special request.

July 28, 2020Dana and Pedro performed for my mom's 90th birthday party and they were wonderful. My mom is a huge opera fan and she was very impressed with their talent. Their voices were amazing! Dana was very responsive and helpful during the planning process (this was a surprise) which was so appreciated. Highly recommend Dana and Pedro!

March 16, 2016I work for a nursing and rehab facility in Cincinnati, Ohio as an activities director. I wanted to bring something new, exciting and to provide an entertainment that some of our residents have never had the pleasure of experiencing. What better than Opera! I went straight to the internet and found GIGSALAD. Once on the website I found Dana & Pedro Willis - Barbosa. Booking, communicating, planning and payment was made easy thanks to Dana and the website. The day of the show Dana and Pedro arrived prompt, they were so patient with our residents and had QA after the program, they sang so beautifully I get chill bumps thinking of it. Dana was graceful and Pedro was so animated while performing and quite funny at times. It was an experience that our residents will never forget and I can't wait to have them back at a later date.

When will the singers perform?
On your wedding day, the singers will perform:
– a 15-minute prelude (background music) as your guests enter the church
– your chosen processional as the bride and attendants walk down the aisle
– the music that you select throughout the service
– the recessional as you leave the church or walk up the aisle as husband
and wife
– a postlude as your guests depart
If you are having a full wedding mass you will select music for:
(1) The Processional
(2) The Gifts or Offertory
(3) Communion
(4) The Signing of the Registry
(5) The Recessional
If you are having a wedding service (not a full mass) you will select music for:
(1) The Processional
(2) The Signing of the Registry

About Dana Pundt-Barbosa(soprano)-
Born and raised in East Texas. Studied music at University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Has sung with Glimmerglass Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Seattle Opera, West Bay Opera, Opera in the Rock, Opera East Texas, various churches and private events.
About Pedro Willis-Barbosa(tenor)-
Born in Bahia, Brasil, but raised all over the US. Studied music at Northern Illinois University and Louisiana State University. Has sung with Opera for the Young, Opera Louisiane, Des Moines Metro Opera, Tulsa Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera, Opera East Texas, various churches and private events.

Arrangements will have to be made for a pianist or small ensemble to accompany the singer/s, depending on what you prefer. We are happy to provide an accompanist, the cost of which will be included in our fee, or you may arrange for your own.
